We source Most of our Meat Locally with our local Butcher Making or Beef Burgers for us.
Our Fresh Fish on Friday's come from our West Bay Fish Monger. We try and  use Farms in Hatch Beauchamp for our fresh vegetables when the Season for our Sunday Roasts.
If you suffer from any Dietary Complaints the please ask about alternatives for your meal have Glutton Free Batter for our Fresh Fish * chips on Fridays try not to use floor in our sauces but use Corn Starch instead for thickening.

Our Sunday Roast is always cooked fresh on Sunday Morning with the roasting joints being put in the ovenat 7am.
There is alway Local Beef and Pork on offer and we also cook some nice large Chicken Breast for those who have pre-ordered.
The real Gravy is made from the roasting juices of the Meats, a gravy for each Meat   
  ( not one pot of Bisto for all).
We serve our Roast in two sizes the small is for children and those who are of an age where they can't eat a large meal. the Large means we don't do starter on Sunday as it would be a waist as most people struggle to eat it all.
The Beef
We try to use only topside or silverside of our Beef roasting joint. One of our suppliers for this is Bagnell Farm Norton SubHamdon for their Devon Red Cattle. The beef is always slow cooked so it melts in the mouth. For those who like there Beef Rare we are sorry but our regulars (tell us when there are not come for lunch )who come every week prefer their meat Cook. But It’s not over cook or dry just no Pink. The Beef is prepped on Saturday with our own light rub and a good drop of Burrow Hill Cider all raped in foil to take on the flavour, when cooked this is then use in the gravy for that rich Taste.
The Pork
We only use whole Legs of pork for our Roasting Join and also to be able to have lovely Crackling as well. Like the Beef the Pork is always slow cooked so it melts in the mouth. Like the Beef the Pork is prepped on Saturday with our own light rub and Plenty of salt (to get good Crackling) a really good drop of Burrow Hill Cider to take on the flavour, when cooked this is then use in the gravy for that rich Taste


How Fresh is The Veg
When in Season our vegetable come from the Wakley &Brunt Family farms in SheptonBeauchamp. The order is placed on a Thursday Morning and is pick fresh on Friday for us to collect along with the Potato’s.
They are then prepped on Friday & Saturday morning before being Cooked fresh on Sunday. You won’t find frozen Carrots & Peas HERE. There are always 4 vegetables along with the Roasted Potatoes (IN REAL DRIPPING) & the other type of Potato either New, Mashed or just plain boiled depending on the time of year and the variety of potato available. Usually there will be Cabbage, Cauliflower (Some time in a Cheese Sauce) or Leeks (either in a Cheese sauce or with Stuffing or lightly sprinkled with cheese depending on what the Boss decides on the day) Carrots & or Swede, A fresh Bean (Broad, Runner, Green) or Mangetout. In the winter month you may even find Beetroot (Red or Golden) in a white sauce. Winter time is also when you may find Mashed parsnip with Honey & Ginger or just roasted. If you really want frozen Peas then ask & maybe you might get some.
